Hi, I’m Ashley — a Southern California native, attorney, and twin mama learning to balance life between the courtroom and the chaos of toddlerhood. My days usually start with coffee and end with wine.

My journey to motherhood began just a month after getting married, when I found out I was expecting monochorionic diamniotic (identical) twin girls. What began as a smooth pregnancy turned complicated at 26 weeks with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, leading to hospital bedrest and an early delivery at 29 weeks + 6 days. After 89 days in the NICU, we brought both girls home — just in time for Mother’s Day.

Since becoming a mom to not one, but two babies, I’ve been learning on the fly how to balance life as a wife, a mother, and a full-time attorney all with the joy (and chaos) of raising twins. It’s not always perfect — but it’s full, beautiful, and better than I ever imagined. And mastering the art of picking up two babies, and now two toddlers, at once has probably become my biggest flex.

For years I’ve dreamed of creating A Modern Day Grace. More than a decade, in fact. It’s inspired by my love of the classics — classic style, classic decor, and the belief that true style never goes out of fashion. I believe in setting the table. I believe in entertaining lavishly and with love — use the china and the crystal, drink the champagne, eat the cake. I believe in the little details that make the ordinary extraordinary: handwritten notes, hostess gifts, polished outfits for even the most casual errands. As my grandmother always said, “As long as you are slightly overdressed, you will always be the best dressed.” Those lessons shaped me then, and they shape the way I live and curate today.

Here, you’ll find the same philosophy woven through everyday life — from clothes curated for both busy mom’s and toddlers alike, to the things that truly make a house a home. I believe you can have champagne taste on a beer budget, and that elegance isn’t about extravagance, it’s about intention. A Modern Day Grace is my space to share those finds and philosophies: affordable fashion for kids and moms, timeless home decor, entertaining with heart, and all the little details that make the chaos of every day life feel a little more…well, extra. My hope is that it becomes a place where motherhood meets style, and where you can find beautiful, affordable, practical things to make your own everyday feel just a little more elevated.
